I normally don't write non-real estate blog posts, but the more I hear about people dying, I guess I get more sentimental. As a fan and follower of the Dave Matthews Band, I had the honor or hearing LeRoi Moore live on several occasions. He was one of the best saxophonists in the business and he will be missed. Join me in keeping his close friends and family in prayer.
Here is a video tribute to LeRoi:

Anthony, I had the pleasure of catching DMB when they came through town last year at Cricket Pavillion (though it will always be Desert Sky Pavillion to me). Along with the rest of the vituosos that comprise the band, Leroi was simply amazing. This news hit me hard when I read about it this morning. Something tells me that we will not be the only ones.
Great version of that song. Yeah it's a bummer when musicians that you love die.
This is a very nice post, Anthony. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
@ Paul - I saw them here in 2005, but also back East several times. I was walking to my brother this morning from back East and we realized he saw his last performance at Nissan Pavillion outside of DC.
@ Shirley - Amen! Those angels will be groovin to the sounds of DMB :-)
Anthony - he will be greatly missed. How wonderful for him to live a life that enabled him to use such talent!
They just played last night here in Phoenix. Proir to this, I didn't need to see them yet again, but I really wish I was able to go.
